that 11 -13 - 72 Bear source of DS > MD is essential GD music

LiA - not familiar w/ site LostSP , looked around a bit but , What is it ?

The last link in LiA's post , re: Nov. '72 , has a wonderful photo from somewhere between 3 - 25 - 72 and the end of E'72 ( can't imagine 6 -17 -72 was that cold , but covering the bases here ) It's of the Core 5 and the Godchaux's , the 4th image down . Never seen that one before , and it's a happy one .

I like that photo as well. There's not alot of group shots that include both Pig and the Godchaux.' First time I saw it anywhere was in Phil's book. I suspect the occasion is they're embarking for Europe after the March NYC run but it's little more than a guess.

Godchaux's for the possessive, as in 'Keith Godchaux's piano'
Godchauxes for the plural, as in 'the Godchauxes, Keith and Donna'

In Phil's book the photo is captioned "en route to Denmark", so it must be just before 4/14.

The other picture w/ Pig & Keith in Phil's book was, amusingly, used in the 11/15/71 Road Trips case....even though Pigpen wasn't with them on 11/15/71!
